Wrive builds automation into sales funnels for global hospitality group

As COVID-19 took hold and businesses were forced to close, The Sama Group, Indonesia, tapped Wrive to help them digitise and automate their sales funnels to enable their team to collaborate remotely.



Last Hurrah Bali, a division of PT The Sama Group, Indonesia, partnered with Wrive to help them digitise their process, automating sales funnels across multiple disparate systems and improving collaboration. Wrive worked closely with the senior leadership team to quickly identify the challenges, risks and to propose new solutions, utilising the the tools and services already available to The Sama Group.


"The challenge we faced with the COVID shutdown, was that our business required multiple teams collaborating across several bespoke systems, to deliver outcomes for our clients. This meant that team meetings had previously been conducted on premise and in person, quite often in the kitchen. To continue to survive, we needed to ensure that quality standards were upheld and information was managed correctly, while working remotely.


To ensure Wrive helped The Sama Group achieve its outcomes, Wrive architected, built and deployed a solution built upon Microsoft Teams. Leveraging the engineers extensive experience in the Microsoft Cloud platform, including Azure, Office 365, the Power Platform and Microsoft Teams, Wrive developed a custom application for Teams that digitised the existing collaboration processes.


As the Sama Group was already utilising Teams for voice and video calling, using Teams as the centerpiece was the logical decision. The custom app integrated data from CRM, Invoicing, Purchasing and Inventory systems to one central location that users were already familiar with, ensuring maximum adoption, swiftly.

The app included integration with line of business SaaS applications, an integrated sales funnel, across marketing, social media, web and store fronts and reporting overlay that enabled management to track orders and manufacture in real time.


Building upon the power of Office 365, unified notifications were integrated Microsoft Teams, along with approval workflows for every stage of the sales cycle through actionable messages

and real-time chat bots with data feeds back into their CRM to ensure internal sales processes were upheld.
